Before you ride

Four things worth carrying

Most of the recoveries we see could have been a twenty minute trailside fix. These are what make the difference.

  • A spare drive belt

The single most common failure on a side-by-side, and the one that ends a day out. A spare and the tools to swap it turns a recovery into a rest stop.

    Belts and clutching
  • Recovery gear

A strap, a soft shackle and a point to pull from. Colorado trails put machines in places a winch alone will not solve.

    Winches and recovery
  • A mounted extinguisher

Mounted, not loose in a cargo box. A dry summer and a hot exhaust is all it takes, and a loose extinguisher is gone the first time you get sideways.

  • A pre-ride check

Fluids, belt, boots, brakes and lights before a big trip. Cheaper than a tow, and the failures it catches are the ones that strand you.

Oils and fluids

Altitude and dust are hard on a machine

Thin air changes how an engine runs and Colorado dust gets into everything. We stock AMSOIL and Lucas Oil and run them in our own machines.

What happens when you bring it in

No mystery invoices, and no work you did not agree to.

  1. 01

You tell us what it is doing

Send the make, model and symptoms. A photo of the problem gets you a far more accurate answer.

  2. 02

    We find the actual fault

We diagnose before we replace. You get told what we found and what it will cost.

  3. 03

    You approve, then we work

Nothing gets touched until you have said yes to the number.
